Students are heading into exams. The sun is burning warmer, and longer each evening. Fenders are being abandoned en masse. We ride through cold winter rain, sure, but the long dry days of summer are what we look forward to all year. Made from collected and condensed heat waves shimmering off dry tarmac, let us introduce Broad Street Cycles Saved by the Bell Summer kit: a not-so-subtle kit bright enough to stand out in the summer sun or in the hallways of Bayside High. Inspired by French sunglasses as much as by French mountain roads, this is a lighter approach to the very, very serious business of riding bicycles. An homage to lazy summer days, this is kit for loitering in mall food courts as much as it is for descending Munn’s at speed.
