Bike Check: Mark’s Cinelli Parallax Street Build

Bike Check: Mark’s Cinelli Parallax Street Build

Mark came in looking for a bike that he could ride around off the track, but that he could still easily make a couple changes to and race.  This Cinelli Parallax build reflects that dual purpose: looks awesome around town, but will also more than capable of crushing sprints at the track.  On the one hand, Brooks Cambium C17 saddle on a Thompson Elite post, flat bars running a front brake and ESI grips, and 47-17/14 ‘casual street gearing’ make this Parallax comfortable enough to ride for more than 200m.  On the other, ZED Wheel Works deep dish carbon clinchers built around Dura-Ace track hubs, Dura-Ace track cranks, and Exustar E-PR107TK track specific clipless pedals mean the Parallax quickly reverts back to a high end sprint machine.

It would be hard to call this bike understated, but the all black look is striking
